art UP! What a great time!! A big, big thank you to all who attended the event! It was so much fun and One Red Bead collected a ton of art supplies, half of which has already been donated to the Extended Day Program at the University of Hartford's Magnet School. Other area schools will benefit, and several individual artists who were nominated will also receive a portion of what was donated. This is what we do!! Another artUP! event is in the works for early fall...be sure to look for your e-flyer, and if you're not already, sign up on the email list!! It was a great first run, hopefully the first of many as we continue to remain dedicated to supporting artists, programs and projects!
